Jay Kauffman

Jay Kauffman is the third son of Adele and Haskell Kauffman, who raised him in Cherry Hill, NJ. He earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics with Honors from Rutgers College in New Brunswick,NJ,and a law degree from The University of Texas School of Law in Austin, TX.

After law school, Mr. Kauffman moved to Florida and has been a proud member of the Florida Bar since 1996. He began his legal career litigating commercial disputes in Jacksonville, Florida, then wrote contracts for a telecommunications company in the San Francisco Bay area of CA before returning to South Florida to take up probate litigation. Since 2000, Mr. Kauffman has focused his practice on representing individuals and families in court proceedings involving the protection of the elderly and inheritances, including guardianships, and probate and trust litigation.He also advisesfiduciaries in the proper administration of estates and trusts and serves as a personal representative or trustee.

Mr. Kauffman and his wife live in Boynton Beach. Together they raised two good, strong, beautiful daughters.
